Abstract

"Blue Skin depicts a youth with skin which is bleeding blue. He wears an abstract geometric pattern and red beads in his dreaded hair. The piece highlights how the color of one's skin can result in an alienating experience. This alienating experience due to societal prejudices against people of colour."
