Stitches
Abstract
Stitches is set in Nairobi, Kenya and follows Julius Kimani. A 61-year-old retiree who lives alone with his wife in the affluent neighbor-hood of Lavington. It explores separate rituals that both the Kimanis have adopted and perform every year in the month of May. It is the first short story of the author, Cinke Houghton, to be published.
